My Values

Who am I?

Process is just as important as results. HOW we win the race is just as important as WHAT we receive when the race is done.

Too often candidates promise WHAT they can bring, rather than focus on HOW they will bring it. With that said, my values are simple and grounded in one overarching principle:

FIX THE PROCESS
People-Driven Government

Government should not be centralized in a 5-person City Council, it should be open for all to participate. Participation should be early and often. You, the People, are the root. If the People have knowledge and understanding of City issues, that will sprout into an improved City decision-making process.

Conservation First

Growth, whether sensible or smart, should not be our default. There is no need for Minneola to follow the rest of Central Florida’s lead. Let’s keep the “Mini-” in Minneola.
Whether the issue is land development, trash/recycling pickup, taxes, road maintenance, or water treatment, let’s conserve rather than overextend.

Evidence-Based Decision Making

When the People are the root of City decisions, and when we keep the “Mini-” in Minneola, then City decisions can be anticipated and rational.

Too often, we are surprised at the decisions coming from City Hall. I promise you will understand HOW I decide City issues.

I do not guarantee universal agreement. But, I acknowledge constructive dialogue and grounding decisions in evidence.
