My Story

Who am I?

I am a Christian, an attorney, and a dedicated family man – I was born in New York City and raised in a military family.

As with most military families, it is hard to call one place home. I have lived across the globe – from Georgia, to Germany, back to Georgia, to Virginia, then to Poinciana, FL in 1996.

After graduating Poinciana H.S. in 1998, I started my higher education at Valencia Community College. Thereafter, I attended and graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2004 (GO KNIGHTS!!).

While at UCF, I was compelled to become a lawyer – I wanted to change the world. So, I started my law school career in 2004 and ultimately graduated from California Western School of Law in San Diego, CA in 2007. My moving around did not stop, however.

In 2007, I moved to the island of Guam, working as a Judicial Law Clerk for a Superior Court Judge.

After my term, I left to Lehigh Valley, PA in 2008. There, I met my wife, Amy, and we had our two sons, Caleb and Lincoln. While in Pennsylvania, I was a practicing lawyer, a Zoning Hearing Committee Member, an Arbitrator, and an Assistant City & County Attorney.

In the midst of COVID, we (as the rest of the world) realized, tomorrow is not promised. So, with nothing but the clothes on our backs and our good name, we returned to Central Florida in December, 2020. A true leap of faith!

After bouncing around in Davenport, ChampionsGate, and Clermont, we finally found our place in Minneola in 2023. Minneola is our home, and we are here to stay.

Yet, since residing here, much has transpired, including the proposed development of a grocery store, gas station, and liquor store (literally) behind my backyard.

I could not stay silent, I had to take a stand.

With that, I am running for Mayor.

I am the best candidate for Mayor of Minneola: I am a Lawyer, I am a Certified HR Professional, I am a Certified Mediator, I am a former Assistant City & County Attorney, I am a former Arbitrator, and I am a former Zoning Committee Member. And most importantly, I care about Minneola and the People who call our City home.
