This is not only an election year, it is also Minneola’s 100th birthday. At this moment, we are at a crossroads between our small-city heritage and our fast-growing future. As Minneola turns 100, we need a Mayor ready to lead – a Centennial Leader. Someone who remembers where we came from and to let that guide who we become. Vision

Our City’s decisions should acknowledge what is down the road, rather than what is directly in front of us. Too often, I have observed City Hall’s decisions be reactive, rather than proactive. With my legal background, and love for the game of chess, I have developed FORESIGHT – an ability to minimize or leverage risks. I will decide City issues based on who we are and what best shapes our future.

Independence

I am not beholden to our City’s leadership, whether current or past. I have not served on the City’s Council nor have I served on the Planning & Zoning Committee. But, isn’t newness something we need? Don’t we need someone who is not attached to the notion of business as usual? Don’t we need a Mayor who is not part of the establishment? Indeed, I have the FRESH PERSPECTIVE we need to navigate the opening of our City’s Centennial.

Inspiration

Faith matters, family matters, community matters. It is time we had a Mayor that inspires our hearts and minds. I can inspire hearts. This new century requires new direction. My campaign’s colors are green and blue for a reason. I understand we need a Mayor who PRESERVES the green fields of our past yet REACHES for the blue horizon of our future. I can inspire minds. I am an attorney, so I understand decisions must be based on facts, not fear, on what unifies us, not divides us.
